A TRADITIONAL HOTEL
Built in 1900 as the HOTEL already housed guests at the time of the Emperor Franz Joseph who travelled to Vienna by train coming from the south of Europe for all sorts of reasons
One of the guests was Franz Kafka who met Milena here in 1917 ('Letters to Milena')

How to arrive
By car: Leave the highway A2 in the direction “Zentrum”, take then the " Triester Sstraße", and follow the directions towards “Südbahnhof” until “Gürtel”
From there, drive approximately 2km and then turn left in Schüttelstraße/B227
Drive towards Praterstern and turn right in Franzensbrückenstraße
By airplane: You can take the City Airport Train (CAT) to Landstrasse/Wien Mitte and from there take the tram Strassenbahn O, Get down at "Südtirolerplatz"
The hotel is about 50m away from there
By train:
From Bahnhof Meidling Trainstation: the Schnellbahn takes you directly to Südtirolerplatz, very close to the hotel
From Westbahnhof Trainstation: please enter the U-Bahn line U3 and get down at Stephansplatz
Take the U1, and get down at Südtirolerplatz: The hotel is about 50m away from there
